About Ian
I'm Ian McTamaney — a pianist, music producer, and educator based in Los Angeles. I hold a B.S. from Whitworth University, have worked alongside Grammy-winning artists, and have 7+ years of teaching experience through academies, universities, and private studios across the country.
But more than my resume — I genuinely love the moment a student hears themselves play something beautiful for the first time! I tailor every lesson to the student in front of me: their goals, their pace, their musical taste. Whether it's your 6-year-old's first time at the keys or you rediscovering a lifelong love of music, we'll make it fun and it'll actually stick!

Every lesson is built around your child (or you!) — not a one-size-fits-all method book. We move at the right pace, keep it fun, and work toward real goals!
